Hope you enjoy my project!
My 2nd project is something lacy again...I guess I am on a crochet kick! I have been preparing for several craft shows in my area and have tried to come up with some "unusual" projects. I have created a White Christmas Altered lace Hat! The hat itself is a victorian lace pattern that was stiffened using Aileen's fabric stiffener and Draping. I altered it with tulle, pearl strand and hand crocheted flowers in Christmas White and Christmas Burgundy. I finished it off with leaves made with a deep green satin! I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed making it. I got the idea from my daughter's wedding decorations but instead of making the flowers out of paper I decided to try my crocheted flowers. ENJOY!
I am offering a "giveaway" after the pictures on this post...the only thing I ask is that you follow me and comment everyday after each post! Thanks and have a great weekend!
thanks for stopping by and please hop on to Emily at
MY "Giveaway" is a set of 10 crocheted lace snowflakes! Just follow me and comment on all three days of MY posts of the blog hop and I will choose a winner after the blog hop is over! Have fun!
