March Madness??Irish Blessings?? St. Patty's Day?? Hey All! We are continuing with our monthly "blog party"! We ladies at Just A Few Friends are at it again! This month we have created our projects using green and/or St. Patricks day. There is a collective giveaway posted on Elsa's blog http://justafewdesigns.blogspot.com/ so to qualify you will need to visit all the dens and leave a friendly comment, then link one of your favorite handmade projects ...a winner will be selected on April 7. My project is a 12x12 page layout and the title really fits me at this time. It's not about being LUCKY, It's about being BLESSED. I have made a challenge to myself to do more 12x12 page layouts this year and intend to do 1 page per week at least. I am a little behind but will be catching up in my next project of a beach al bum for my family. lol I am also using...

As most of you know I participated in a February celebration with Just a Few Friends design group...or at least I was supposed to. The night I was supposed to post this mailbox and mini I ended up in the hospital with a pretty critical situation. After I got out of the hospital I was able to post the mailbox but didn't post the mini because I did not feel like it was completed and wasn't happy with what I had. So I have taken more time and completed the mini that goes into this cute little mailbox. I changed some things, took out some things and added more things...lol Also to let you know we are actually doing this every month. This group is hosted by Elsa with Just a Few Designs with her daughter Krystal and Aussie friend Kimi. Linda and I have joined their group and are having a wonderful time. This is part of the Valentine project that I was to post last Monday night just in time for Valentines Day but I ended up in the hospital with a pretty serious situation. I am on the mend! So here is the Mailbox I created for this post. I also have a mini album that goes inside but it isn't quite where I want it to be now. I had decorated it very simply and will post pics sometime today or tomorrow. I am getting to use my new camera I got for Christmas though from my wonderful hubby! It is a Kodak Easyshare and is pretty neat and easy to use...anyway! I hope you like my Valentine mailbox even if it is late! LOL!

Wow! So much has happened in this last few weeks...even more so the last few days! I am alive and praising the Lord! I thank you all for your calls and well wishes. I hope this answers the questions some of you all have asked me! As most of you know I had to have a heart cath last week and while the results of that were negative, about 5 days later I experienced what is called a Pseudoaneurysm of the Femoral Artery and a larger sized blood clot in my right leg. A procedure was done to repair the aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm...and well I am on blood thinners and other meds for a bit to take care of the clot. I will need to go to the clinic twice a day to receive injections and will be going back for an ultrasound of the clot next tuesday to see what has gone on with it in the meantime. They are suggesting a second procedure at that time to go in an try to remove the clot and install a "filter' in the artery below the lungs to prevent the blood clot from going in...

What we are gonna do is meet several times this Month...to create projects relating to February, Valentines Day, Love and all that good stuff! I am so excited! We hope to inspire you to create and be as excited about your craft as we are! We are going to have a scavenger hunt during our time together this month so keep prowling around our blogs and maybe you can get some Kitty Treats that we have prepared for you!
