New Design Team!

Hello Ladies! Welcome to my new adventure! I have just become a member of Just a Few Friends (JAFF).

Since most of you know Elsa with Just a Few Designs http://www.justafewdesigns.blogspot.com and KimiBee.I would like to take this time to announce that they along with Elsa's daughter Krystal have created a new design team! Most of their followers, including myself, have been wishing and waiting for this to happen for quite some time! I just never expected to be asked to join so I am overwhelmed and honored! Along with these ladies, myself and Linda have become JUST A FEW FRIENDS (JAFF)!!!

What we intend to do is create projects on a regular basis...sometimes monthly, sometimes more! You are invited to come along and join us for some fun projects, great company and some prizes along the way! For prize entries you must follow each blog and comment on each lady's project to be entered!

For my first project we were asked to create something relating to teacups, saucers or teapots...Since I collect them I was more than a little excited! For my project I have created this Teddy Bear Tea Party...in a Box! I created the box by recycling a First Aid Bandage box and covering with Butterfly Gardens paper line from Pink Paislee. The miniature tea set was a gift from my daughter when she was about 11 years old...she is now 25! The teddy bears were a set I used for a Christmas scene display every year for Christmas, except for this one!




A WORD OF ADVICE!!!! If you are recycling a box...trust me... it is easier to take the box apart and cover it, then put it back together! MUCH EASIER!

    How Utterly Charming... Totally brings back memories of MY miniature tea set.. I even cried with I unpacked it recently as found a little Saucer broken.. Your flowers are Amazing.. Just saying !

    This is absolutely adorable Sue! I too collect teapots and teacups. This is such a cute idea! This would make a perfect gift for a little girl... or a collector like you and I :)

    This is a very pleasant flash back ...me and my sisters, used to do tea cup parties....well instead of tea it was juice parties..back then we didn't like coffee. This is super cute!! The coffee table scream cup cakes. MMMM

HI and WELCOME to our Halloween or Fall Blog Hop! Shades of Green!

March Madness??Irish Blessings?? St. Patty's Day?? Hey All! We are continuing with our monthly "blog party"! We ladies at Just A Few Friends are at it again! This month we have created our projects using green and/or St. Patricks day. There is a collective giveaway posted on Elsa's blog http://justafewdesigns.blogspot.com/ so to qualify you will need to visit all the dens and leave a friendly comment, then link one of your favorite handmade projects ...a winner will be selected on April 7. My project is a 12x12 page layout and the title really fits me at this time. It's not about being LUCKY, It's about being BLESSED. I have made a challenge to myself to do more 12x12 page layouts this year and intend to do 1 page per week at least.
